    Meet the Pastor & Family
         Possibly you may have wondered about me or my family. Well for the sake of not knowing where to begin, let me start with my wife and I.

         I never dreamed that one day I would be a preacher, let alone a pastor. I grew up in a pastor's home and knew what was expected so I was very happy and content with being a funeral director/embalmer. I worked for 18 years in the funeral business until the time of my father's homegoing. It was then that the Lord dealt with me and said that if I was really serious with not being able to attend a church without the fire of God that I should do something about it.
         Then when a little blind lady said to me during dad's visitation, "Honey, you've played second chair long enough, it's time to move up to first chair" that I finally accepted God's call on my life. It's now been over 18 years and I can say that God has never failed me yet!
         My wife, Donna and I have been married for going on 29 years. But let me add that we first walked down the aisle at Calvary together back in my sister's wedding over 43 years ago. Who would have ever dreamed that we would still be walking down that same aisle today? But we've enlarged our borders since then as we have been blessed with three children, yet they are virtually all grown up now.

         Our oldest son is Nathan and he seems to be following in the ministry also. He has been helping dad out by preaching fiery messages when dad needs a break. He is 26 and still single! Nathan when he's not on the golf course also helps out with so many things (those thankless jobs) here at church and by assisting Bro. Bill with some of the audio and occasionally even the media systems.

         Our second son is Nick who is 24 and a graduate of SIUE is now workinging in St. Louis. He is also an avid golfer like his brother. He loves the Lord too and has been our church drummer for about twelve years now. (By the way he DOESN'T have a girlfriend either.)

         And our baby is Whitney who is 19 and is attending SIUE forher 2nd year of college. She is planning on being a CPA.  (And she doesn't have a boyfriend, and I'm telling everybody, SHE'S NOT LOOKING FOR ONE EITHER!)
